Confessions of a Slacker Blogger
I am sure no one will read this post (let me know if you do - even if you want to leave an anonymous comment). Seriously, I wouldn't blame you if you didn't check my blog - ever again! I had to laugh at Claudia's comment to me at the blog party. She said that she checks my blog every so often but it "is still your mom." I love my mom and think she is the most beautiful and lovely woman I know so having her pic grace the last post (seriously May!), it ain't so bad.
So, here is the incredibly short version of where I have been since May. Trav and I went to Vegas for a week in June. I hate Vegas and was only there for a conference at the convention center. We did go out to the Hoover Dam which was cool but sizzling hot! We went to Delta (pronouced Del-Da) for the 4th of July and visited family. We got the last non-smoking room at the Best Western but the front desk lady had to unlock it everytime we wanted into the room because the lock was broke. That was a bit obnoxious. Work is busy as usual. Relief Society is busy as usual. I continue to feel like I am not getting enough done in either of these areas of my life. I bought a roman shade for my recently redesigned/reorganized office and it is still laying on the floor.
I had huge plans this week with something every night but all of it was cancelled, rescheduled, or I just opted out. So, I am looking forward to a night with the Renegaders this evening.
Oh! I must tell you about my football injury! I went to BYU women's football camp last week. It was so much fun up until the time I got hurt. I was running the 2nd of 6 drills when I rounded a corner, slipped on very wet grass and I audibly heard and physically felt a RRRIP! Ouch! I quietly limped off the football field. I was bound and determined not to tell anyone let alone cry. You know the rules...THERE IS NO CRYING IN FOOTBALL!! I was laid up last Friday, used a cane on Saturday and have been upright since but man! it still hurts. But, the cool thing (I guess) is that I can honestly say that I have a football injury. Nah - it isn't that cool. It is just a PAIN!!
So, that is it for a 3 month hiatus. Let's see if I will recommit to blogging more often. Anyone care??? :)

absolutely, I care! I can't wait to hear more about football camp- 40 minutes and counting!
I read it! Does that make me your favorite in-law?? By the way, Abby can say your name and says it every time she sees your picture.
I care! I've been checking for months and seeing you and your mom and wondering if you'll ever return.
I'm sorry about the football injury, you're tough stuff lady.
Yes -- I care!! I still can't believe you went to football camp.
I check in every week or so and have been more so since the party. I can't believe you got hurt- it is kinda cool that you have a foot ball injury from your college days though. Hope you post more soon :)
Hey there! well at least I saw your mom again when I hit the buttom to comment. I loved meeting you at the Blog Party you have a great smile. Keep us in touch
I just found your blog, so you haven't been gone that long to me. ;) Welcome back!!
I care, too, but as you can see, I am a slacker blog READER! And I am honored by your comments. I LOVE YOU!!!! Mom
We need to do lunch again! I had so much fun. I guess I could email you rather than post to your blog. I'll go ahead and do that.
Hey sis!
I CARE! You are the one who initially inspired me to Blog...I'm a bit of a slacker, too (perhaps it runs in the family?!) Anyway, I'm going to go for at least every other week, as this is such a great way to keep in touch. YOu didn't tell me about your "football injury"...it is almost as cool as my "snowboarding" injury, remember? Love ya sis!
Linda
I care! (2 months later!!!)
