Maine seems so long ago...

Yes, if I wasn't before, I am now an official blog slacker! For all my blog fans (hee hee) know, we could still be in Maine. But, alas, no. I have so much to tell. So, here we go for the recap.

We did go to Bar Harbor. It was a long drive after driving a couple hours the day before. However, it was incredibly beautiful. The one downside of the trip was that my photos just didn't capture the gorgeous colors. Yummy chowder and lobster bisque were highlights.

That night, Trav had his Ed Conference in Topsham. It was hugely successful, but by the end of the day, we were very tired and my backside was numb.

Next day took us back to Boston. We had some time prior to his Ed Conf in Boston so we went over to Harvard Square and the Coop. The next day we went into the city and walked some of the Freedom Trail. This pic is Trav on the phone (ahem!) right outside Fanueil Hall. It was a beautiful day and it was fun to revisit some of our old haunts.

Prior to getting on our flight home, we drove out to Quincy (pronounced "Qwinsee") to see the home of John Adams. That was fun but we didn't have time to take the full tour. We attempted to see the Boston Tea Party monument but it was under construction, but we looked out into the Harbor and said, "well, there it is!" A bit of a bust, but overall, the trip was great. I think we calculated our driving miles to be somewher in the 700s. Whew!

Fun! I think I'm going to try to go to Boston with Jeremy in June after he attends eBay Live. We'll go probably without the kids. Yay! I can't wait. Boston looks so great.
